CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2023-24 has been released on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in. Students can download subject-wise CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2023-24 PDF from this article. The article also contains detailed topic-wise marks weightage, deleted topics for each subject, and the latest question paper pattern for final board exams to help students plan their preparation and focus on topics with high weightage.
CBSE reduced the class 12 syllabus by 30% in the session 2021-22 due to the pandemic. Since then, it has continued the reduction in the syllabus for subsequent sessions. For the session 2023-24 also, CBSE is following the reduced syllabus. Students can check the subject-wise CBSE Class 12 Deleted Syllabus in this article.
Since the board exams of class 12 will be conducted on an annual basis this year, CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2023-24 is not divided into term 1 and term 2. Students have to study the entire syllabus for their final examinations.
The maximum mark for a subject in CBSE Class 12 Exams 2024 is 100. These total marks are further divided into 70 and 30 for theory and practical components. For subjects without practicals, the marks are divided into theory (80) and internal assessment (20).
CBSE has also announced certain changes in CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2023-24 in accordance with NEP 2020. As per the new exam pattern, students will get 40% competency-based questions, 20% MCQs, and 40% descriptive-type questions in their final exams. (Source: cbse.gov.in)

CBSE Class 12 Physical Education Syllabus 2023-24
Physical Education is an optional subject in CBSE Class 12. Students from any of the three streams can choose this subject either as an optional or main subject. The total marks for Physical Education are 100 divided into 70 marks for theory paper and 30 marks for the practical. Although there has been no specific age criteria to register and take CBSE class XII examination, the minimum age is usually considered to be 17 years. I suggest you to visit the school where you want to get admission for detailed information.
Yes, there are some minor changes in the 2022-23 CBSE 12th syllabus. This year there will be only one exam, but there will be a suspension of 30 percent. CBSE has not made any changes in the structure of the exam pattern.

The marking scheme of the CBSE 12th exam depends on each subject from the syllabus. In general, the overall marks for each subject will be 100. These 100 marks are divided into two parts. 80 percent of marks are allotted to the theory paper and the remaining 20 percent is for the practical exam.
