CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2024 is expected to be released anytime soon at cbse.gov.in. The date sheet might be released by November 2023, however, there is no official update from CBSE regarding this. CBSE Board officials earlier announced that CBSE Class 12 Exams will be conducted for a total of 55 days from February 15 to April 10, 2024. CBSE has announced the practical exam dates for winter-bound schools. The practical exams of class 12 will be held from November 14 to December 14, 2023, for schools situated in winter-bound areas. As per the New Curriculum Framework 2023, the board exams will be conducted twice from 2025 onwards. Students will have the option to retain the best scores out of the two. However, for the session 2023-24, the board will conduct CBSE Class 12 Exam only once.
- All the papers will be conducted in a single shift only.
- Each exam will be held for 3 hours from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
- CBSE Class 12 Admit Card for theory exams will be released by the last week of January 2024, tentatively.

The practical exams for class 12 will be held from January 1, 2024. This will be applicable to all the regular session schools affiliated with CBSE.
- Practical examinations are conducted in schools only.
- The dates and timings of the practicals are decided by the school authorities. Students need to contact their teachers to know the detailed schedule of practical exams.

CBSE Class 12 Practical Exams for Winter-Bound Schools
Schools situated in winter-bound areas generally remain closed in January because of extreme weather conditions. For such schools, practical exams are conducted before January. CBSE has released the practical exam dates for winter-bound schools through an official notice.
CBSE Class 12 Practical Exams for winter-bound schools will be held from November 14 to December 14, 2023. Schools have been directed to complete the practical exams of class 12 within the specified dates.
Along with the practical dates, CBSE has also stated below instructions for the schools:
- Schools must ensure that no student whose name is not submitted in the LOC submitted by the school appears for the practical exam.
- Schools must contact the regional office for the appointment of external examiners and observers.
- After the successful completion of the practical exams, schools must send the answer books to the regional offices.

CBSE will conduct exams for the academic session 2023-24 on an annual basis this year. There is no term-wise division for the current session. Hence, the board will not release any term I and term II date sheets for CBSE Class 12. The final exams will be held in February-March.

According to the rules set by the board, you must separately pass practical and theory examinations. This year there will be only one exam, but there will be a suspension of 30 percent.
