I like my course and their will be big placements in the future.,
I liked the glass building and It stands as a symbol status for me to study in nmims,
The canteen is very affordable if you see that the fees is very expensive.,
The faculty is very good and most of them are visiting faculty only.

Dislikes:
I dont like the fees as it is very expensive compare to the other subjects.,
I don't like the washrooms as they are very small comparing to the capacity of the college.,
The college is very strict for the attendance part as it is 85% minimum to attend or they will not allow you to sit in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am studying in a BBMM course. The faculties are very good and they are highly qualified from very big renowned universities and have very long teaching experience. In BBMM, there is a trimester module followed so exams and midterms are held every 2 months, and passing the papers is a really big deal.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Likes:
Study material is good, and upto dated. Books show case studied as recent as 2019. We are provided notes of subjects as well. Topics are taught in right sequences and in easy to understand language.,
Teachers are average at worst and excellent at best. Most are above avg,
We are provided options of teachers in each subject for sem 1 and 2

Dislikes:
Options of teachers is missing in sem 3 and 4, i wish they had many options like sem 1 and 2.,
Fee is a bit more than what it should be. Specially for those who are not financially well,
Exams have multiple dates and slots but in doing that they make waaaay too many Questions. Some of them aren't well made and look like Q just for the sake of it

Course books aren't as deep as the books studied by students of MBA students from IIM but that comparison is unfair in itself. Otherwise, books are good and teach the topic well. Not all faculties are best but most of Nmims faculties are on average to Excellent level.

Likes:
The atmosphere here is very good providing all the facilities.,
The seniors are very helpful and the placements are superb.,
The faculties are well versed with the subject.

Dislikes:
The overall cost living here is slightly on the higher side.,
The batch strength has increased from last year.,
The rainfall here sometimes make life tough.

The faculties in my college are very good. They have very deep knowledge and understanding of the subject and share the content with us via ppts for our thorough understanding of the subject. They even organize case studies and quizzes at regular intervals to check our progress.

Likes:
The course curriculum and th faculty at NMIMS is really good and at par wit best colleges in the country.,
Although the batch size is huge (800) all students get placed.

Dislikes:
The fees at NMIMS is really high considering that they don't provide a campus for accomodation

The course curriculum at NMIMS is at par with all the top IIMs. The faculty members are also well qualified with the majority of them holding the Ph.D. degree in their respective specializations. Owing to the bigger batch size, the student: faculty ratio is not up to the mark which is around 50:1 (I might not be exactly accurate though). As the trimester system is followed here, the exams are held every 3 months and there is a mid-term in every trimester.

Likes:
Campus life and the crowd is very nice and you can make very strong connections as they come From a nice background,
The events and clubs are very engaging and can keep you occupief,
Faculty Are very welcoming and Are open to discussion and help you out

Dislikes:
At times during peak hours the canteen might be too congested and you would have to find another way out

During my 12th standard, I had taken computer science as my subject, and in that, I liked microprocessors as a subject and that's why I wanted to pursue my bachelor in technology in electronics and telecommunication, at the same time I had an interest in MBA, that's why I chose this course. We have many faculty members coming from IIM, IIT and who have a lot of experience. Their term exams have a 50% weightage, meanwhile, the internal continuous assessment has a 50% weightage, but it is easy to score.

MBA at NMIMS- An experience for the better

Likes:
Cohort was intellectually gifted and it was a privilege to learn from my peers,
Placements were amazing. Despite a global recession we received amazing offers,
Faculties were always pushing students to learn and think

Dislikes:
Not having a hostel and full fledged campus,
Mumbai as a city can get quiet heavy on the pocket,
Sometimes the work load can get quite overwhelming

I took the flagship MBA from NMIMS Mumbai as it was in synch with my previous Work Experience. It was my desire to upskill my learning from my time as a professional with theoretical business concepts. The faculty-to-student ratio is usually 1:30, with brightly lit and big classrooms with Audio Visual Tech available. Faculties were industry professionals who had achieved accolades in their particular field of work. Also, the majority of them had PhDs and were very competent. The teaching method was completely case based and dependent on the discussion in a class by students in which the teacher nudges us towards interesting viewpoints Exams like Quizzes could be once a week and they required regular study. Midterms were three weeks after the start of the trimester and there were final exams at the end of the trimester. Exams as such were sometimes case based or theory based. Diffuculty was quite moderate

Studies are excellent with excellent faculty.,
Cultural activities are also very good and inclusive.

Dislikes:
No campus life so it feels very dull after college as everyone wants to rush home.,
Cost of studying here is higher compared to other colleges.

Bsc finance is one of the best undergraduate commerce courses offered by any college in the country. All the faculty are very knowledgeable and explain every concept nicely. The course content is also aligned with the CFA exam, making it easier for students to crack CFA LEVEL 1 and 2.

Placement record is top notch, it offers big companies and high packages,
Students at campus are from diverse backgrounds and bring knowledge to the table, peer learning is there,

Dislikes:
Curriculum is hectic, no time for other things in life,
Class timings are very heavy, it can start from 8am in the morning and you can stay in college till 6 or 7pm,
Mumbai is very expensive to stay as well as the fees for MBA is very high

The course curriculum for MBA Business Analytics at NMIMS Mumbai is leaned towards the technical side where we are given hands-on experience with analytics tools and software in our classrooms and the curriculum consists of a lot of projects which make us a well verse in all the things that are being taught in the classroom.

NMIMS, Mumbai Review

I chose this course because of my Marketing interests. The curriculum in NMIMS is holistic and covers all the course's aspects. The faculty at NMIMS is very helpful and supportive of your studies and co-curricular activities too. They are a bit strict regarding the lecture timings. Each and every professor is very experienced and had intense knowledge about the subject taught by them. We had 2 semesters every year. Exams were conducted on a mid-term basis and end-term basis. These exams were designed to test the deepest knowledge of the students in the subjects that were taught in the class.
