B.Ed Admission 2023 in many top universities and colleges is based on an entrance exam. Candidates can sit for a state-level or a university-level entrance exam to take admission to the B.Ed course. Several entrance exams such as CUET PG, IPU CET, DU B.Ed, IGNOU B.Ed, UP B.Ed JEE, etc are conducted for admission to the B.Ed courses. DU BEd Admission based on the CUET PG was also ongoing from June 14, 2023, through the CSAS Portal. TS EdCET Seat Allotment result for Phase 1 has also been released.
Several states conduct a special B.Ed State Admission Process. Karnataka BEd Admission is currently open. UP B.Ed Admission is done based on a state-level entrance examination UP B.Ed JEE. UP B.Ed JEE Results have been released on June 30, 2023. Like UP, Bihar B.Ed Admission is also based on the Bihar B.Ed CET. The admission process also includes a counseling session to offer admission to the B.Ed course after the candidates have cleared the entrance exam. The registration process for Bihar B.Ed Admission began on February 20, 2023 and closed on March 20, 2023. Bihar B.Ed CET was conducted on April 08, and the counseling session was ongoing till May 03. The first and second seat allotment lists for Bihar B.Ed Admissions have been released on May 09 and 29, respectively. Jammu and Kashmir B.Ed Admission process was open from March 10 – 31, and the exam was conducted on April 23, 2023.
APSCHE has revised the AP EDCET 2023 exam dates to offer Andhra Pradesh B.Ed Admission 2023. JCECEB has also started the Jharkhand B.Ed Admission 2023. Jharkhand B.Ed Admission was ongoing till March 31, 2023, and the entrance was conducted on May 13, 2023. Maharashtra B.Ed Admission has also been concluded and the results for MAH BEd CET have been announced. Telangana B.Ed Admission is done on the basis of TS EDCET 2023. Interested candidates had to apply for TS EDCET till April 25, 2023. Rajasthan B.Ed Admission and Odisha B.Ed Admissions was also ongoing based on a state-level entrance exam till May 14, 2023. MP BEd Admission has also concluded on May 29, 2023.
B.Ed is a 2 years Undergraduate teaching course, pursued by candidates who aspire to become teachers in schools, preferably for secondary and senior secondary levels. Candidates can also pursue B.Ed programs through the Distance mode of education from several colleges. Distance B.Ed courses are usually 2-5 years long. Distance B.Ed Admission 2023 is open in IGNOU, VMOU, and BAOU. IGNOU B.Ed Admission 2023 for the July session was ongoing till June 30, 2023. B.Ed Admission in IGNOU is done based on the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam. IGNOU B.Ed Answer Key and Results (January Session) have been released on March 23, 2023.
