Campus Life:

The campus life of MIT is one of the best with students coming in from each and every part of the country. There are a lot of interesting clubs and student projects present here at MIT. I myself am in a student project called Team Manipal Racing which makes a new car every year out of scratch and enters competitions in different parts of India and also the US. We have Techtatva as our tech fest which was conducted in the month of October and Revels which is conducted at the end of the semester i.e. March. We have a huge library which has all the books required for our studies. A lot of sports & extracurricular activities are there in our college including basketball, football, cricket, NCC, NSS, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mechanical Engineering as my course because I dreamed of designing cars even after securing a very good rank(4320). The student intake of Manipal is not very much it is equivalent to a government college with a total of 1800 students taken in the first year this year. My branch has a total of 200 students and 90 faculty members so the faculty: student ratio is also very good. Most of the faculty is very qualified with a lot of iitians and PhDs. Our midterms were at the end of September and endterms start from the 29th of November.

Because of my interest I chose the mechanical engineering course at Mnnit. Faculty students ratio is good in this college there teaching method is good. Exams are not too difficult but checking of exam copy is hard.

The life at the campus is really good. The name of the tech fest here is Tech Tattva and the annual fest is Revels. Tech Fest happens around October whereas the annual fest is in March. The library is pretty big with most of the books, academic and nonacademic available. Classrooms are equipped with AC smart boards and projector and a camera for recording classes. There are a lot of sports and to be a part of the team you have to be selected. Apart from sports and tech clubs, MIT also has cultural clubs going out to different colleges for competitions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee is 3.25 lakh per annum for tuition and hostel fee varies from hostel to hostel. If you get a rank under 100 in MET, you can avail of a decent scholarship and to continue that scholarship, you have to maintain a high CGPA through all the semesters. In-campus placements are really good. The average package is around 9 lakh per annum.

Campus Life:

College life us really good, you get to meet a lot of people from different regions and different ethnic groups. There are two main fests in VIT i.e., Gravitas a tech fest and Riviera college fest. Gravias is conducted between the months of September and October and Riviera is usually conducted by February. The library is given a huge importance in our college. It consists of a vast collection of books both technical and nontechnical. The classroom consists of a projector and is termed a smart class but the projectors are barely used and Vellore being a very hot place the classrooms do not have enough ventilation. There are many clubs and chapters which are run by students. There are so many clubs both technical and nontechnical which is pretty amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose a B.tech in mechanical engineering with a specialization in automotive engineering as I had a passion for physics and automotive vehicles.VIT has a unique system called the FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) in which the students get to choose their faculties as well as their subjects. The faculties that I have come across are really talented and know their way around both the students and the subject. The practical knowledge that one gets is a very good thing about VIT. One semester has 3 exams or tests i.e., CAT-1, CAT-2, and finally a FAT. Any exam without proper knowledge is tough but having learned the subject it becomes really easy.

As I mentioned earlier I got admission in the Mechanical Engineering branch. I chose this branch first of all because of my percentile Also If I would be getting ECE or Electrical then also I would choose mechanical due to my keen interest in core engineering. The facilities of my college are very knowledgeable and understanding. They teach tougher topics in a very easy manner. There are two exams in a semester one mid-term and the other end-semester exam. The paper was not that easy but It can be made easy by studying.

Campus Life:

The name of the annual cultural fest is CULRAV and the tech fest is AVISHKAR. The library includes Books on each and every single subject with more than 1 lakh books. The sports facilities of this college are also the best with every piece of equipment and various programs I. Various clubs are run by students such as the Coding club, Robotics club, Stock market club, Entrepreneurship club etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I love to explore machinery and tools. The faculty-to-student ratio is average. Every teacher and staff member is very well qualified in their respective fields. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. Holders and doing research. The schedule of exams and holidays is declared in the academic calendar only, and it is not so difficult to pass int the exams conducted by the college.

Campus Life:

Life on campus is just amazing. Talking about social life, there are many cultural committees, technical clubs, and student associations. You can interact with the seniors very hassle-free and all the seniors are very supportive. They are a little bit strict in the beginning, but they also get friendly later on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good and interesting with excellent concepts and being taught by knowledgeable faculty members. The faculty is very experienced. I chose this course because I am interested in mechanics and the working of machines and this time some new topics like robotics are also introduced. The faculty teaches the topics with a very enthusiastic attitude. There are two exams in the semester mid-sem and end-sem. The exam pattern is very challenging and checking the student's practical approach towards the problems.

Campus Life:

The Campus Life Is Not Very Good But The Campus Is Very Much Nourished With Lush Greenery Which Provides Ample Freshness. The Big Digital Centralised Library Provides A Large Number Of Books. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose mechanical engineering because of its flexibility in core and software jobs. Also because of mnnit's lower fees as compared to other institutions like Bits Pilani where I was getting admission also. The student-faculty ratio is not too good here, as a single class has almost 60-70 students present. All the faculty have a Ph.D. and thus are qualified in their respective fields. however, some of the teachers find it difficult to make the subject interesting enough for the students and also present the slides in a bland way. Hence some classes become useful almost only for attendance. However, there are good profs as well who are easy to approach and good teachers. Examinations here are tough to Ace because of the in-depth level of questions. One must start preparing early to get above 8-9 pointers. However, it depends on the subject and the teachers on how they evaluate or set up the paper.

Campus Life:

We have Culrav our cultural fest, and Avishkar our tech fest, as well as multiple inter-nit contests. Most fests are held in April. Multiple tech clubs are present namely robotics, coding, astronomy, and aerospace clubs, as well as personality development clubs like literary clubs. Anokhi peel is a wonderful initiative by students of MNNIT whereby they teach underprivileged students on their own, and its auditioning process is very strict in order to selectively choose the best student teachers. There are a variety of sports clubs in our college, and almost all the most common sports have a separate club. however, due to reasons, many clubs don't participate in international competitions. The classroom amenities are sub-par. Most of the classrooms are quite small and old. Some have defective projectors. However, there are also large, and well-equipped classes like nlh1/2.

All the classes in the lecture halls are air-conditioned and seats are in a step-wise manner. Tagore library is in the college where lots of e-books, journals and engineering-related books are available. But no novels are present there which I think is a cons of this library. Computers with internet connectivity are provided here. The whole library is air-conditioned. There are lots of councils, sub councils, NSS and various clubs present in the college where you can work on your grooming and personal growth. Aeroclub and Autorob come under the technical sub-council.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose mechanical engineering on my own interest and the best course in 75000 jee main rank. Faculty of HBTU is very good but you have to attend the class regularly. Exam will be thoroughly based upon the contents taught in the classroom. Most of the facilities are PHd holders from IIT or NIT. And most of them are the alumni of HBTU itself. The level of exam conducted is moderate to high level. All the exams are done on time.

My plan initially after getting my degree is to do Jon in a service-based company for some years and want to make my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is nicely designed, but it is very old. Old methods are discussed and topics do not really match the industrial standards. Faculty members are very good and always try to help students. I chose the course because I had a great interest in mechanical engineering. faculty to student ratio is okay 1 faculty to 50 students. The faculty are well-qualified professors from IIT and other well-known institutes in India and other foreign countries, but their teaching methods are very old just focusing on passing the exam. Four exams happen every semester. The difficulty level of the exam is medium.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees are hiked up by 10% every year. From the second year, there are teacher assistantships. The normal scholarship is based on the JEE percentile in the first year and from 2nd year it is based on CGPA. You can easily get a scholarship if your cgpa exceeds 9.25.
