Course Curriculum Overview:

I preferably chose my course as I'm seeking to look forward in that field. Students are there in a moderate range but there are large no. Of many other students in other courses also. Faculty and teaching methods are up to the mark with no complaints till further. If you have studied well in class then term exams might appear easy to you and easy to pass.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The annual fee is 14000. The fee structure depends upon the courses you opt for and scholarship schemes are introduced much earlier when a student is struggling to find their campus knowing their place and the college staff helps in getting the scholarships. There are scholarships based on merit and family income.

Annual fest happened every year but as there were so many political things happening it was very difficult to ensure the safety of every student in every fest some students fought and for that, we had police and bouncers as well as safety but still some students were able to initiate the fight which concludes on canceling the fest. For sports, I would say it was a great experience they had all the equipment and allowed every student to play in a particular time period other than college teams other students were also allowed to play and that's a good thing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this program as I wanted to explore my knowledge of humanities as it's my interest. The student strength of my class like a single section was 137. The faculty was very good as it taught well even in the online mode they took classes and offline it was mandatory to attend. semester exam was held every 6 months and it was very difficult for us to score good marks but it was easy to pass if you studied well or took the classes on time.

Every year the annual fest is organized by the college fund the name of the fest is "Exuberence" and it is conducted in the month of February every year. The library is very good and all the books and journals are available in the library and it is also air-conditioned and peaceful environment. Classrooms are not very good because it is old and not maintained for many years. Sports like cricket, badminton, and football are also organized periodically. There are many societies also available in the college namely ' Prarambh', 'Women Development', 'Ecoshashtra' and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From class 12 I liked to study economics that's why I chose it. The faculty and student ratio in my college is very good that is of about 1:40. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and are well qualified with teaching experience of about 20 to 30 years. Term exam is based on a semester basis means every 6 month and it's very difficult to pass but due to well-qualified teacher and their guidance and way of teaching, we pass the exams easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics has been my favorite subject since class 12th, therefore I chose to get admission into the field of economics. The faculties of our college are Ph.D. holders with large years of experience in teaching economics. The method of teaching was in a way that the teacher provided you with handwritten notes and taught from them on the board. Generally, all the students pass most of the elective subjects but core ones are difficult to pass. Exams are conducted on a semester basis i.e 6 months. Papers to focus on are Intermediate micro, statistics, econometrics, and International trade.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees of our college are the lowest among all the Delhi University colleges when I got admission to college I paid 5000 as my fees but last year the fees were extended to 7500 per year. First-year 5000, Second year 6500. Third year 7500, This is the sequence of fee hikes from 2021 to 2023. The college also provides scholarships ( mostly of them are for the reserved categories), if you are a general candidate than its hard for you to get scholarships.

The annual cultural fest is called Vibrations and it happens in February generally. Library has most books and journals you would need and even if you need something that isn't there, you can request it and they will get it for you. The classroom is just a standard room with desks and a blackboard. There are a lot of societies and there is a very big ground for sports There are college-level and university-level student unions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

It's pretty cheap it costs 18,000 for the whole year, and in that too financial assistance is available but I don't qualify for that, financial assistance is income-based not merit-based as far as I am aware. I don't think there is any fee hike policy as the fees for every year were mentioned in the prospectus.

Placement Experience:

During the last year of graduation, students May get placement but there is a very low chance for BA students. The company that visited in our college is not so famous so I can't get the name of company in my head. The highest package was 10 lakh for a student of Commerce. Very few percentages of students get placement. Don't hope for a placement in this college. After getting my degree I will give a competition exam

Campus Life:

The fest of college is not so good. We didn't enjoy previous years and we regret this. There are thousands of books in my library but we don't get all the books that we have to study in the syllabus. Classrooms are in poor condition. They have no AC in a single class. Our college is excellent in sports like football, cricket, and basketball.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I have opted for is ba program with philosophy as major and political science as minor. If I talk about the course curriculum, we take our 1 or sometimes 2-hour classes from Monday to Saturday and I'm really satisfied with that. There is not so much pressure of attending the classes and bringing the assignments. Our teachers are so nice that they never postpone or miss our class and are always patient with us. Our syllabus seems very easy to us just because of our professors. When I took my first-semester exam, I was so confident that I'd surely get through it with good marks just because our professors have taught us very nicely, clearing all our doubts. We also have our doubt classes scheduled for the main subjects that we study. The faculty members are good and very nice. Just sometimes we have to put extra effort when we want any fest or program to occur of our choice. Faculty members are a little selfish on some issues but it's okay.

Campus Life:

Life on campus is amazing. But in Ramjas College because of the unavailability of the student union, big fests like Mecca happened in Hindu college were not happening for the past 3 or 4 years in our college. But normal departmental fests are amazing and mostly occur during the month of November and December. The condition of the library of our college is very bad. Only old books and course-related books are available. Many amenities are not available. Tables and desks are broken sometimes and sometimes we don't have electricity. Sports and extracurricular activities are very nice in Ramjas but if a student is really passionate about doing so and is active in the college, then only he'll get to know about the activities or sports program otherwise no one tells us. I'm not aware of any social group that runs for the students and by the students right now.

The annual fest is average. A celebrity is invited. Don't think that a very big or famous celebrity will come. The library is nice with all the books available for the course and the reading area is equipped with ACs for comfortable studying. Classes are equipped with projectors and the class which are allotted to BMS are also equipped with AC.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee is 33,000 for BMS. I am in 2nd year and the fees for the first year were also the same. It is a bit higher than other colleges of DU. The cost to live is around 10-15k per month. There are some govt scholarships but those are very hard to get.

The college organizes a cultural fest within six months of the year. There is some cultural club for students. Students can enhance their interests. The college library is also very good, there all the books are available for students. Students can sit there to study. In the library, students can take off the books for study. Sports activity is also available in college you can play sports like football, badminton, hockey, etc. You can participate in sports on campus. You can play nationally and internationally from the college side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I had done 12th Arts, I opted for this course. The student ratio was very high at that time. The teaching method was very good and all teacher was very friendly with all students. There were two semester exams in a year. If you study for the exam then the exam is very easy. The same teacher who used to teach appeared in the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the B. A program with Political Science and Geography as core subjects because it's my favorite and also helps in UPSC preparation. And there are about 1 teacher per 30 students or less or more. But we must have about students to arrange teacher and to learn any special subject. All faculty are a mix of new as well with a great experience of 30 plus yrs but some faculty are totally from English medium so they face difficulty for language. And the teaching method overall is good. Exam happens timely each term and is not very difficult as in our course you just need to do PYQs and easily tackle every question and write as much as you can.

Placement Experience:

As it's BA in our department no such placement but in the B.com department 3rd yr. Students used to give interviews and juniors prepared all the things with teachers. About companies, I say about 40 to 50 companies each time came at different times and the college claimed their highest package of 25lpa. And companies like Byjus, Young India, Young Global, etc. Comes. Students may have criteria of Division like 1st division. Almost all students get placement offer letters but with less salary being paid students do not act on that letter. As I have done my BA and I fixed my goal of doing preparation for civil services.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in Arts so I chose this course, there are 7 to 8 faculties for each course, and the number may vary for different courses. Most of the faculties are good but some of the faculties of my course were not very good, it seems like they were passing time, asking students to study by themselves which is not a matter but some of them also do not provide students with the study material. Most of the faculty's qualification is Phd and they use the PowerPoint method for teaching. There were 2 exams one mid-term and one end-term and 3 continuous assessments, it is not difficult to pass the exams.

Campus Life:

The social life at the campus is good, there are a lot of fests for music, culture, and tech-based and almost happens every month. There are also several clubs, that one can apply for and join easily. Every block has a library and there is also a central library which includes both online and offline books. They have also given access to the online library and websites along with the microsoft office. Classrooms have ACs and Projectors and seats are also comfortable. One can also join sports by giving trials or through sports quota, they also conduct sports activities every month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason for choosing a BA is that I am an average student and also my family members wanted me to do my graduation through a Bachelor of Arts. Our faculty is great. They are the mentors to us. The way they prepare us for our future is best. They not only teach us but also help us to build good careers. They provide each and every drop of knowledge in us. They are nurturers for us. They give us the best for our life. The faculty and students ratio is well maintained. The teachers of this college are well educated all are Ph.D. and their way of teaching is excellent. The exams are on time and these are easy to pass for everyone. The department is also known for its excellent research work carried out by the faculty members and students.

Campus Life:

The campus experience is one of the best for all colleges in Tricity. There are many events & festivals throughout the year. A pleasant environment and good at sports. Classrooms are very good, with proper benches but the campus is spacious and large, there is no proper park where students can gather. No WiFi is available for students. The library can be used till 6.00 PM. There is no football ground but Dav in Chandigarh is known for its cricket academy. A very large amount of books are available in the library for bookworms. There are dance clubs like lassya and dsw but lassya is one of the great dance clubs in college and they also organise auditions in the auditorium of the college.

● Top Answer By Anika Ramteke on 16 Oct 21

Ans. The rules for ATKT at Mumbai University are simple and easy to follow.  If you have more than 2 KT in each semester, then you will not be promoted to the next year. You will have to drop a year from college and appear for the exams again. Keep a close eye on the notifications related to the exam and fill the form accordingly. If you have 2 or less KT in each semester, then you will be promoted to the next year. To appear for 3rd year examination, you must clear either your 1st or 2nd year. Ques. How many marks do I need to obtain in the BA entrance test to qualify for Patna University?

● Top Answer By Jiraya Sen, on 11 Nov 21

Ans. Every college has their own cut offs presented by them. The cut off marks tend to decrease with consecutive lists. If you are a General category student 55-65 marks out of 100 would be enough to get you through. The reserved categories like OBC, SC or ST get a relaxation of 5-10%. Patna University also considers students from sports quota and other extra curricular achievements.Read more

The campus is peaceful and ideal for studies.  The faculties are great. Other than lectures they will give you information regarding useful seminars and workshops.  The rest depends entirely on you. Ques. Should I do BA programme from St. Stephens or English honours from JMC?

● Top Answer By Sugandhi Roy on 29 Oct 21

Ans. I have friends from both St. Stephens and JMC. Here are a few of the information that I got from them.  St. Stephens is a prestigious college with its own sets of rules and code of conduct. It has a good campus. If you want to explore ideas, places and have a decent campus life then St. Stephens is a great option. JMC is an off-campus college. So, you won’t have access to campus. It is a girl’s college with strict rules.  Now coming to the courses, in English honors, you will learn about a myriad of texts from different countries and different time periods. However, you will have to spend your three years around poetry and prose. You won’t get to experience much diversity when it comes to subjects. For the BA program, however, you can choose all subjects from Social Science. There are many combinations that you can opt for.  So, I will suggest that you choose the program which will keep you interested for the next three years. College life will be similar irrespective of the institute. Also, gone are the days when students with honors degrees were treated superior to the students who pursued programs. Read more
