Pretty much all the information that you are looking for is available online. You can approach one of the consultants also. I approached IDP and I feel that literally all the information that they gave me was available online. In my case, my younger brother had already started his under graduation in the same university. So, as per the university life experience was concerned, I obviously talked to him about it.

The UoM has a high research output and is ranked 32 all over the world. It has a great academic and employment reputation. Moreover the structure of the course I selected seemed to meet my interest as well. To add to this Australia is a beautiful country to travel in as well and Melbourne ranks in the world's top 10 most livable cities.
I choose this university because of the scholarship it was providing for its Year 1 studies.
The University of Melbourne is among the world's highest-ranked Universities, both in general and for the course/major I'm considering studying which is Computing and Software Systems. I chose Australia because the climate is very similar to where I live in Islamabad, Pakistan and therefore I would not need to adjust much as opposed to a place like Canada. Once I had decided on Australia, Melbourne University was the natural first choice as it is Australia's number 1 university. I chose to study Computing and Software systems because of their immense relevancy in a wide variety of industries as well as academic research.
Fees:
The yearly tuition fee for my program is approximately 45000 AUD and the total tuition fee for a standard 3-year degree is 170000 AUD.
When I was thinking of choosing my University I had in my mind that, The University of Melbourne is Australia’s number one University and comes in the global ranking of the best universities in the world and is recognised as the best in the world for business and management programs. It has world class infrastructure with libraries, computers, internet and research base that will help me in creating the kind of future I want for myself.
