The UoM has a high research output and is ranked 32 all over the world. It has a great academic and employment reputation. Moreover the structure of the course I selected seemed to meet my interest as well. To add to this Australia is a beautiful country to travel in as well and Melbourne ranks in the world's top 10 most livable cities.

The University of Melbourne is among the world's highest-ranked Universities, both in general and for the course/major I'm considering studying which is Computing and Software Systems. I chose Australia because the climate is very similar to where I live in Islamabad, Pakistan and therefore I would not need to adjust much as opposed to a place like Canada.
